THE HEALING POWER OF LIGHT – 2

As we have examined in the previous post, God’s light shining in our hearts has powerful effects on our inner being. The light of His truth has rescued us from the effects of sin and transformed us into a new species, called “children of God”.

However, light also has the power to restore our bodies to efficient functionality. Let me explain.

Humans have known of the power of light for many centuries and used it according to their limited knowledge. Scientists know that light on earth gets its power from the sun in both the plant and the animal world.

For many years, medical science has attempted to harness the power of light to heal and regenerate the body through various methods of phototherapy. As a trained nurse and midwife, I myself have used light therapy to treat babies with neonatal jaundice.

However, as much as light has been used to treat various medical conditions for many years, only in the past 20 years has scientific research been learning to harness the human body’s ability to use its own light to heal itself.

Just as God’s light, His spiritual truth revealed in His Word, has entered our souls to restore the image of Jesus in us…

Romans 12:2 NLT
[2] “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

…so, through this technology, scientists have learned how to harness light emitted by our bodies to reverse the process of aging and restore the body’s cells to improved function again.

Through a thermal camera, we can see the light that comes from a warm-blooded creature’s body. Wild-life photographers use this way to photograph wild animals in the dark. For example, with the use of a thermal camera, the warmest areas of a wild animal show up in the dark as yellow, shading to green and blue where there is less light on the surface of the skin.

Every cell in the body uses light in the form of energy, to function efficiently. Light waves activate the appropriate elements to do their work. As the body ages, under the influence of internal and external factors that degrade its functions, the cells slowly lose their efficiency until the body’s cells eventually can no longer continue to sustain life.

Stem cells produced on the brain are the body’s repair kit. Stem cells are initially neutral, (like one-size-fits-all), but they become whatever and wherever new cells are needed to replace old. We age as our stem cells slowly lose their ability to do their work. I am told that, by the age of sixty, stem cells have lost 60% to 80% of their function.

This recently-discovered technology of which I have learned, has found a way to reflect the light emitted from the skin back into the body to, among other functions, reactivate the body’s own stem cells to repair the body’s wearing-out functions. Malfunctioning vital organs, such as heart, liver, kidneys, pancreas, etc., which result in degenerative conditions, begin to function normally again. Pain, cause by inflammation, is relieved. Normal brain function is restored… even hair loss and colour are affected by this therapy, without medication or invasive procedures.

This sounds like magic, or miraclulous, doesn’t it? Yet, many thousands of people who have put this treatment to the test, are finding it not only true but have begun to live healthier lives again. Through the application of this technology, degenerative conditions are being reversed and even brain malfunctions are being restored to normality.

Now let me explain further. A variety of tiny crystals applied to the skin by the use of patches, causes the skin to reflect specific wavelengths of light back into the body. These “lightwaves” stimulate circulating peptides, groups of amino acids in the blood, to attach to various minerals, (especially copper in the case of the “flagship” patch). These copper peptides, in turn, reactivate the body’s stem cells which have become dormant through aging.

For years, doctors have used stem cells harvested from donors to treat, for example, conditions like leukaemia. However, the treatment is expensive with no money-back guarantee of success. When the body can produce its own stem cells, healing happens… efficiently.

Since God is truth and all wisdom belongs to Him surely, then, this technology must have come from Him…

… so, God has revealed to scientists the way to apply the healing power of light in our bodies to heal our organs from the damaging effects of aging. Through this process, we can, in turn, live out our lifespan with a far better quality of life than most people who are dying from the decay of aging and disease.

The beauty of this technology is that it is relatively cheap, compared with traditional methods of stem cell transplants and other forms of phototherapy, and it is guaranteed to work with a money-back guarantee.

It is not my intent to advertise a product but rather to show you how wonderfully God has both saved our souls and is able to restore our bodies by His light. Although this technology, using light, can never help us cheat death, it can restore our bodies to a measure of healthy living that extends our lifespan and gives us a better quality of life until our bodies die.

The man who discovered this process is a confessing believer in Jesus. He has worked for 20+ years on discovering the code that unlocks the human body’s power to heal itself. He has tried and tested every step of this amazing discovery and has more than 70 US patents to authenticate his work. He has published the details of the process extensively and defended his work from the critics who try to discredit what he is doing. There are hundreds of testimonies from those who use the patches that they work!

After explaining the process of the healing these light crystals initiate, this scientist made this exciting statement, “This is only the beginning!” Imagine if his research would take him into the field of potentially fatal conditions like cancer and HIV-AIDS or brain malfunctions like Alzheimers, or Parkinsons disease! Already, autism, and other mental or emotional conditions, for example, is positively affected by the use of specific patches. Despite the skepticism of critics, the results speak for themselves.

Does this sounds too good to be true? A pipe dream? A fairy story? Without the testimony of many thousands who have used this technology with dramatic effects, it would be only a far-fetched dream but, to God’s glory, it is true!

THE STORY OF POLYCARP

I offer you the story of POLYCARP, the bishop of Smyrna who, in his old age, was betrayed and condemned to death. He refused to deny his faith in Jesus, choosing the flames of a Roman fire rather than the flames of hell. Jesus had given all for Polycarp…now Polycarp surrendered all for Jesus.

We may not be called to give our lives to the executioner as many in the world are doing now, but Jesus calls us to take up our cross daily and follow Him. Our cross, our will for His, so that He might live His life through us to His glory, is the daily choice we must make. Polycarp chose physical death for eternal life. We are called to choose death to the old life that we might live new lives of trust and obedience to the one who loved us and gave Himself for us.

THE BISHOP OF SMYRNA

“Polycarp was killed between 155 and 168 CE. According to The Martyrdom of Polycarp, he was betrayed by members of his own household, captured, and taken to the Colosseum, where the local proconsul attempted to coax him into offering sacrifices to Caesar.

So the proconsul said to Polycarp, ‘Take the oath. I will let you go. Just revile Christ.’ Polycarp answered, ‘For eighty and six years I have been his servant, and he has done me no wrong. And how can I now blaspheme my king who saved me?’”

The proconsul proceeded to threaten the elderly man with lions and fire. In response to these torments, Polycarp replied.

“You threaten me with fire which burns for an hour at most; you must not know about the fire of the coming judgment and of eternal punishment, reserved for the ungodly. Why are you wasting time? Kill me in whatever way you see fit.”

Realizing he could not be persuaded, the proconsul sentenced Polycarp to death by fire. The soldiers tied him to a stake and covered him in oil. But, just before the executioner ignited his funeral pyre, Polycarp uttered his last words as a prayer, praising God.

POLYCARP’S LAST WORDS

“O Lord God Almighty, the Father of Your beloved and blessed Son Jesus Christ, by whom we have received the knowledge of You, the God of angels and powers, and of every creature, and of the whole race of the righteous who live before you, I give thanks that You have counted me worthy of this day and this hour, that I should have a part in the number of Thy martyrs, in the cup of thy Christ, to the resurrection of eternal life, both of soul and body, through the incorruption imparted by the Holy Ghost. Among whom may I be accepted this day before You as a fat and acceptable sacrifice, just as You, the ever-truthful God, hast fore-ordained, by revealing it beforehand to me, and now fulfilling. Because of this I also praise You for all things, I bless You, I glorify Thee, along with the everlasting and heavenly Jesus Christ, Your beloved Son, with whom, to You, and the Holy Ghost, be glory both now and to all coming ages. Amen.”

THE DEATH OF POLYCARP

As soon as these words escaped his lips, the executioner lit the fuel beneath his feet. However, according to the Martyrdom of Polycarp, the flames did not consume him. Instead, they surrounded his body and carefully protected him like the walls of a city. However, the guards were determined to kill him; and so one was commanded to stab him with a knife, bringing an end to his long life.

Polycarp’s final words are a great example of what it means to live your life in view of eternity and under the sovereignty of God. You see, his martyrdom was not accidental or unexpected; days before he was captured, God sent him a dream foretelling the time and manner of the death he would face.

I don’t know about you, but if God told me my time was almost up, my reaction would be more like Hezekiah, who became depressed and prayed for more time.

“In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.”

“Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, “Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.”
Isaiah 38:1-3

Yet, with his final words, Polycarp praised the God who did not save him from the executioner’s blade. This kind of response is only possible when you have embraced the reality that we are only strangers in this world and the truth that our lives are the property of our God.”

FORGIVENESS – A TRUE STORY

The scene is a Truth and Reconciliation courtroom in South Africa.

A frail black woman rises slowly to her feet. She is something over 70 years of age. Facing across the room are several white security police officers, one of whom, Mr van der Broek, has just been tried and found implicated in the murders of both the woman’s son and her husband some years before. He had come to the woman’s home, taken her son, shot him at point blank range and then set the young man’s body on fire while he and his officers partied nearby.

Several years later, van der Broek and his cohorts had returned to take away her husband as well. For many months she heard nothing of his whereabouts. Then almost two years after her husband’s disappearance, van der Broek came to her house to fetch the woman herself. How vividly she remembers that evening, going to a place beside a river where she was shown her husband, bound and beaten, but still strong in spirit, lying on a pile of wood. The last words she heard from his lips as the officers poured petrol over his body and set him aflame were,” Father,  forgive them…”

Now the woman stands in the courtroom and listens to the confessions offered by Mr van der Broek. A member of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission turns to her and asks “So what do you want? How should justice be done to this man who has so brutally destroyed your family?”

“I want three things,” begins the old woman calmly but confidently. “I want first to be taken to the place where my husband’s body was burned so that I can gather up the dust and give his remains a decent burial.”

She pauses, and then continues. “My husband and son were my only family, I want secondly, therefore, for Mr van der Broek to become my son. I would like for him to come twice a month to our township to spend a day with me so that I can pour out on him whatever love I still have remaining in me.”

“And finally,” she says, “ I want a third thing. This is also the wish of my husband. I would like someone to come to my side and lead me across the courtroom. I wish to take Mr van der Broek in my arms and embrace him, to let him know that he is truly forgiven.” As the court assistants come to lead the elderly woman across the room, Mr van der Broek, overwhelmed by what he has just heard, faints. As he does, those in the courtroom, family, friends, neighbours – all victims of decades of oppression and injustice – begin to sing, softly but assuredly, “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.”
